KILLINGLY, Conn. — A 19-year-old Framingham woman, Amanda Dias-Reis, was arrested in Killingly for reckless driving, according to Connecticut State Police.
Dias-Reis was charged after a state trooper, conducting speed enforcement, reported that she was driving significantly over the speed limit. Police stated that she was clocked at 99 mph in a 65 mph zone and later observed driving at 115 mph.
Dias-Reis allegedly told the officer she was speeding to meet a friend. She was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 20.
